The Grand Finale! Our final session is a celebration of everything we’ve learned. Students will use their skills to design and personalize a large Canvas Tote Bag using decorative appliqué techniques.

Description

Congratulations! We’ve made it to Week 10. This session is all about personalization and finishing touches. Students will take the lead on design, choosing their own shapes and colors to make their final project truly unique.

What we will cover in this session:

  • Decorative Stitching: Mastering the Zig-Zag and Satin Stitch for appliqué.

  • Fabric Composition: Learning how to layer different textures (like felt on canvas) for a designer look.

  • Boxed Corners: The secret to giving a flat bag a professional “bottom” so it can stand up on its own.

  • Graduation Ceremony: We will wrap up the class with a presentation of the Stitch by Stitch Graduation Certificates!  (for students that complete all 10 classes)

The Project: Students will finish their own Personalized Appliqué Tote Bag—the perfect vessel to carry home all the projects they’ve made over the last 10 weeks.
