Stitch by Stitch: May Boutique & Graduation Bundle (Weeks 8-10)

May is for Mastery and Celebration.

The final three weeks of our “Stitch by Stitch” journey are designed to show students how professional-grade accessories are made. We transition from simple seams to “Sewing Architecture,” learning to manage bulk, curves, and decorative finishes.

May Curriculum Highlights:

• Week 8: Hardware & Heavy-Duty Design Inspired by my own handmade business! Students will sew through thick layers and learn how to install metal Key Fob Hardware to create a professional Keychain Wristlet.

• Week 9: Sewing Curves & 3D Assembly We say goodbye to straight lines and hello to the circle. Students will master “steering” through curves to create a beautiful, cinched Travel Jewelry Pouch with double drawstrings.

• Week 10: The Grand Finale & Graduation It’s time to personalize! Students will use Appliqué techniques and learn to “box corners” to create a custom Canvas Tote Bag. We end the session with our official “Stitch by Stitch” graduation ceremony.

What’s Included in the May Bundle:

• 6 hours of in-person instruction (3 sessions).

• Specialty materials: Metal Key Fob hardware, satin cording, and appliqué felt.
